Privacy Policy for Asset Finder

Effective date: 12 August 2026

Asset Finder is a Chrome extension built for internal use at Xero. This policy explains what the extension does, what data it accesses, and what it does with that data.

What Asset Finder does

Asset Finder helps Xero AEM authors quickly locate the DAM (Digital Asset Manager) source of an image on an AEM author page. After clicking the extension icon, clicking an image on the page shows a small menu with options to open that asset, open its containing folder, or copy its file path.

Data we collect

Asset Finder does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, browsing history, or usage analytics. It does not use cookies, does not include any tracking or advertising code, and does not send any data to Xero or to any third party.

How the extension works

No data generated by this process is saved by the extension, sent off your device, or shared with anyone.

Permissions

Asset Finder requests the following Chrome permissions, used only as described above:

Third parties

Asset Finder does not share any data with third parties, because it does not collect any data to share.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at the same URL with a revised effective date.
